Year 10 Entry 2012
Applications are now being received for entry to Year 10 to commence GCSE courses in September 2012. Admission is by interview and examination.
Radnor House offers the advantage of teaching and learning in small class sizes, often in single or low double figures, ensuring a personalised approach within a caring and structured environment delivered by highly qualified and achieving teachers (visit ‘Meet the Team’ on our website for full staff information). We aim to ensure our students are stretched and given the opportunity to achieve GCSE grades at the highest level to prepare them for the challenges of A-Level study in 2014.
The academic curriculum is complemented by a co-curricular programme offering over 50 activities including a wide range of Sport, Music and Drama as well as Rowing, The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, Creative Art and Dance to name but a few.
All students follow a core curriculum leading to GCSEs in:English Language
English Literature
Mathematics
Biology
Chemistry
Physics
In addition, students choose one Modern Foreign Language from:

Spanish
Art & Design
Business Studies and Economics

Geography
History
Latin
Music
Physical Education
The Sixth Form is due to open in September 2014 and every child at Radnor House has a guaranteed transfer to the Sixth Form without having to sit additional exams or worry about entrance criteria.
